PLEASE PLEASE HELP!? Guy friend? Does he like me?

Ok well this guy and I were in the same 2nd grade cl. (im in 7th now) Then i moved the summer going into 3rd. Now someone put me and him in the same AIM chat room (i think its becuase everyone thought we liked each other in 2nd grade?! idk) and i got his SN. We used to IM alot and he sometimes asked me who i liked. I never said but I would ask him who he liked. One day he said "u fine.." I think he meant it like "fine. u" like he liked me. And i was like "No u dont trust me" A little later i emailed him asking him if he liked me. He only said "I like you as a friend" but nothing about liking more then a friend. Then another time i was talking to him about my phone and he asked for my number. He also sometimes wants to video chat or audio chat. I say I cant (total lie) and change the subject. Does he like me or no? Should I consider him a friend? Ask him out!? IDK! PLEASE HELP!
