Isn't Protestantism just another branch of Catholicism?

I say this because the central doctrine of Catholicism is the Mystery of the Trinity. It is the same for most Protestant Churches. Also they both worship Jesus Christ, which is an incorrect name and title. The true name is Yehowshuwa, and his title was the Messiah, it was the messiah that they were waiting for, not the Christ. Now I know that some of you would say that the name Jesus is just an English translation of the Hebrew name Yehowshuwa, but wouldn't Joshua be a better translation, like it is translated in the OT?
