Why is God missing in my life whenever I ask for help?

God is a spirit who lives inside of us. Its the light that can guide us, when all else fails. God forgives everybody if they ask to be forgiven. We have to be truly remorseful for our wrong doings, truly sorry in our hearts. The gates of heaven are wide open but the entrance is very narrow. Its so narrow that few people can walk it.
