Nasty girl saying things about my dogs name?

so in cl we were all showing each other our dogs and when she saw mine " she was like what is he doing" (he was laying upside down when i took the picture) and then she asked whats his name. ok so he hasnt got the most common name in the world but its original and we didn even name him. his name is dee dee. she goes "what a STUPID name for dog". i was shocked, i couldnt believe it, this girl which i sort of knew as well directly said to my face (the owner) that my dogs name was stupid. her dog was downright ugly but i didnt tell her that because i love ever dog no matter what they look like and i obviously also wasnt going to be rude and say that to her like she did to me. i was like "wow geez.....thanks (insert name)" and grzed her off and then she kept looking at me and was like "at least name him scruffy or something" i was like "thats an even WORSE name". dont u think it was rude of what she said? even if she thinks its a stupid name she should have kept it to herself like how she got a god awful hair cut but i didnt say anything because im not a mean person. what do u think about this? i turned around and ignored her in the end
